Paris Saint-Germain forward Mauro Icardi is set to join Turkish club Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Having fallen out of favour at the Parc des Princes, the 29-year-old has yet to feature for the Parisians this season.
The striker has scored just five goals in 30 appearances last season for PSG.
Icardi’s move to Turkey is a win for all parties after being told by Christophe Galtier that his time at the French capital has ended.
The Argentine will be unable to break into the starting line-up. So, a loan move will enable him to get regular playing time and will allow him a chance to make it to the World Cup squad later this year.
