However, at a time when Inter are regarded as the number one favourites for the 28-year-old’s signature, Corriere dello Sport claims that BVB are admirers of the versatile playmaker.
With Erling Braut Haaland expected to leave this summer, therefore, the German outfit will have the funds to make a high-profile addition in the final third.
Nevertheless, it is suggested that Dortmund are only offering the Argentine a contract worth €4.5m per year, less than he would earn at Inter or any one of a number of English clubs.
