Atletico Madrid forward Alvaro Morata has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal.
The 29-year-old is currently on loan at Juventus, where he has scored 11 goals in 44 appearances during the ongoing season.
While the Serie A giants have the option to purchase the frontman for €35m, it has been reported that the Bianconeri will attempt to negotiate a lower fee.
However, according to Tuttomercatoweb, the Gunners could provide competition for the Spain international’s signature as they keen to strengthen that area of the pitch.
The report adds that the north Londoners are prepared to pay €30m for Morata, however, it is unclear whether the Spaniard would join the Premier League club after failing to settle during his previous stint with Chelsea.
