Chelsea aim to re-sign Joao Felix

Chelsea’s pursuit of Joao Felix is heating up as they seek to bolster their attacking options following the collapse of Samu Omorodion’s transfer.

Felix, who previously had a loan stint at Stamford Bridge, has emerged as a prime target, with Aston Villa also expressing interest.

The 24-year-old Portuguese, once heralded as a world-class talent at Benfica, has struggled to find his footing at Atletico Madrid. His spell at Chelsea last season showed flashes of brilliance, and a permanent move could offer him the stability needed to reignite his career.

Chelsea are in dire need of a creative and versatile attacker, and Felix fits the bill. While not a prolific scorer, his ability to link play and create chances makes him an attractive option. A move to the Premier League, where he already has experience, could be the fresh start Felix needs.

With Atletico Madrid looking to offload him to fund their own signings, a reasonable deal could be struck. Chelsea’s need for attacking reinforcements could see them push hard to bring Felix back to the Bridge, offering him the chance to finally fulfil his potential in English football.
