The 23-year-old World Cup winner has penned a new deal with the Bundesliga outfit, which is due to expire in 2019.
The Germany international, who plays for Borussia Monchengladbach on a season loan deal, had been linked with a move to join Arsenal.
However, the midfielder has ended speculation over his future by committing himself for further two years to remain at the BayArena.
Kramer has scored four goals in 42 league matches over the past two season for Moenchengladbach, and he will return to Leverkusen next summer.
