Arsenal supporters were surprised on Wednesday morning with the speculation from the Mirror that the North Londoners are interested in signing Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
The Spaniard’s agent, who is his brother confirmed that Arsene Wenger had been in talks with him over a possible move to the Emirates.
The 28-year-old is widely regarded as one of the hottest property in Europe, and he was a crucial part for Carlo Ancelotti’s side that won the Champions League last season.
However his contract is valid until 2017 and he is not interested in extending his contract with the Los Blancos and the reports from Spain have suggested that Gunners are looking for reinforcement this January, who desperate to bring the defender to London.
