Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly stepped up their interest in the race to sign Fiorentina forward Federico Chiesa.
The 20-year-old attacker, who has been impressive for the Italian outfit this season, has scored four goals and provided three assists in 15 Serie A appearances during the 2017-18 campaign.
According to a report in Tuttomercatoweb.com, Spurs are very much in the hunt for the Italian winger, although Fiorentina have placed a £53m price-tag on the player in a bid to fend off interest from the Europeans heavyweights including Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
As well as Napoli and Roma have also been credited with an interest in the playmaker, who broke into the club’s first team during the 2016-17 campaign.
Chiesa has scored three goals in 10 appearances for Italy’s Under-21 team.
