Roma new signing Ashley Cole has been reported to be on a English Premier League return with Manchester United, as rumours circulating that the former Chelsea left-back could be set for a January exit – who has endured a tough time in Serie A.
Manchester United already have a wealth of experienced defenders with the likes of Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind and it’s believed that Louis van Gaal is desperately keen on the former England international in order to bring him to his ranks in January, if the 33-year-old’s current employers, AS Roma, decide to offload him in coming transfer window.
Cole has made five appearances for the Giallorossi since he arrived at Stadio Olimpico this summer from Chelsea.
