Report: Man United plot £40m Willian bid

Manchester United will reportedly consider to launch a £40m bid for Chelsea midfielder Willian in the January transfer window.

United boss Jose Mourinho is said to share a close relationship with the Brazil international , who impressed under the Portuguese towards the start of last season. and the reports suggest that Mourinho is willing to work with the winger again.

According to the Daily Star, the Red Devils are ready to pounce with a move for the 28-year-old attacker, who has not started even a single league match since October 1.

Willian was a major part of Chelsea’s title winning team of 2014-15. He joined the west Londoners from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013 and has scored 21 goals in 149 appearances for the club.
