The San Siro side AC Milan have reportedly stepped up their interest to sign Manchester United midfielder Memphis Depay in the January transfer window.
The Dutchman joined the Red Devils from PSV Eindhoven last summer, but struggled to make an impact during his first debut season at Old Trafford – scored only two goals in 29 league appearances.
The 22-year-old has made four appearances for United this season, but has been on the bench most of the times in the Premier League and it is believed that a loan move could be possible in early 2017.
According to Tuttomercato.web, the Serie A giants are closely keeping an eye on developments at Old Trafford and could make a move for the Netherlands international in the January transfer window.
Rossoneri were taken over by a Chinese consortium earlier this summer and have been linked with Real Madrid midfielder Isco and Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas.
