Real Madrid have reportedly expressed an interest in making a £68m move for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
The 23-year-old forward has scored 84 goals in 138 appearances across all competitions over the last four seasons for the club and he has constantly been linked with Premier League clubs Chelsea and Liverpool.
However, El Desmarque reports that Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is eyeing up a summer move for the Germany international as he looks to rebuild his frontline.
Werner recently signed a new deal with the Bundesliga outfit, but the report suggests that the sort of bid Los Blancos are planning would be enough to encourage them to sell one of their key assets.
It is thought, Zidane is already frustrated with Luka Jovic, who has struggled for fitness since joining the club from Eintracht Frankfurt last year.
