Real Madrid have not given up hope of signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The France international has less than three months left to run on his contract and he has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.
According to the Daily Mail, discussions between Los Blancos and Mbappe’s representatives have been put on hold as the La Liga leaders have been briefed that the 23-year-old remains undecided over his future.
The report goes on to claim, however, that Real Madrid are ‘quietly confident’ that the 2018 World Cup winner will move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
The Spanish giants are set to focus fully on their pursuit of Mbappe, who has been in impressive form this season, contributing 32 goals and 22 assists in 40 appearances for the Parisians across all competitions.
