Newcastle United have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old has earned plenty of plaudits with his performances across Europe after racking up 30 Serie A appearances for Torino this season, where he has also netted three goals.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Magpies are looking to strengthen their backline and have identified Bremer as an ideal addition.
However, Newcastle could face stiff competition from fellow Arsenal, who are keeping close tabs on the Brazilian.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan are also thought to be weighing up a move for the centre-back.
With a number of clubs vying for Bremer’s signature, a bidding war is expected to take place in the upcoming transfer window.
