Barcelona have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler.
The 25-year-old has played a starring role for Los Che during the 2021-22 season, contributing 12 goals and five assists in 32 appearances in all competitions.
His contract at Mestalla is due to expire next June, though, and the club are allegedly finding it difficult to extend his contract.
According to Sport, Barca are keen to bring the midfielder to Camp Nou in the summer, with the manager Xavi a huge admirer of his talents.
The Spain international has scored 35 goals and provided 31 assists in 217 appearances for Valencia.
