The Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to table a £40 million offer for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho in the January transfer window.
The Brazilian, who is currently sidelined due to injury, has been strongly linked with a move away from the Reds, with European heavyweights Barcelona and Bayern Munich are both also said to be interested in the playmaker.
According to the Daily Express, the French champions had a £22m bid turned down for the 24-year-old winger last summer and are set to re-ignite their interest in the midfielder, who is capable of performing on both as an attacking midfielder or out wide.
The Merseyside outfit are hopeful to retain the services of the South American, whose current contract at Anfield valid until 2020.
Liverpool will be without Coutinho when they meet Stoke City in their next league game at Anfield.
