PSG on verge of signing Hakim Ziyech?

Paris Saint-Germain are expected to wrap up a deal for Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

The 29-year-old has found it difficult to make his mark for the club and country, was unable to nail down a regular spot at Stamford Bridge but starring at the 2022 World Cup for Morocco.

The Morocco international played an influential role in the Atlas Lions’ run to the semi-finals, where they were beaten by France.

He has been a regular fixture in the Blues starting lineup since his return, featured six times during the first three weeks of the year.

But his future is now being called into question after the likes of Noni Madueke, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Joao Felix all arrived at Chelsea.

According to L’Equipe and Fabrizio Romano, a switch to the Ligue 1 champions is now expected to materialise.

The midfielder is said to have already agreed personal terms with the Parisians as he aims to take on a new challenge.

Ziyech, who still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his contract, has scored 14 goals and registered 11 assists from 98 appearances in all competitions.
