Newcastle United plot summer move for Adrien Rabiot

Newcastle United are reportedly keeping an eye on Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot with a view to making a move in the summer.

According to a report from Fichajes, the Magpies are keen on acquiring the services of the Frenchman during the summer transfer window.

Rabiot’s impressive performances throughout the current season have caught the attention of several top clubs across Europe, including Arsenal and Chelsea.

The 28-year-old has been impressive for the Bianconeri this season. He has been a key figure in 41 matches, contributing 11 goals and four assists.

Rabiot is expected to leave Turin in the summer. His contract is set to expire, and he has expressed no interest in extending his stay in Italy.

Several clubs have expressed their interest in securing Rabiot’s services, with Arsenal and Chelsea closely monitoring the situation surrounding the highly-rated midfielder for some time.

Both the Gunners and the Blues view Rabiot as a suitable candidate, but they face tough competition from the Tyneside outfit.

Newcastle United recognises the need for additional depth and quality in the midfield and sees Rabiot as the ideal solution. In order to compete in both the Premier League and Europe, they are prepared to make multiple signings in the market. Their priority is securing the signing of Rabiot, and they are willing to offer him a four-year contract as part of their efforts to lure him to the club.
