Manchester City have reportedly identified Real Sociedad forward Mikel Oyarzabal as a potential summer signing as the Premier League champions seek a replacement for Sergio Aguero, according to Eurosport.
City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak confirmed that the club are ready to fill the void left by their all-time leading goal scorer.
Pep Guardiola’s side continue to be linked with Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku and Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, but neither player seems likely to join this summer.
The aforementioned report claims, City could move for Oyarzabal if either Raheem Sterling or Bernardo Silva leaves the club.
It is claimed that Oyarzabal, who has been in scintillating form for the La Liga outfit last season, was previously considered by the Citizens before they signed Ferran Torres last year.
