Arsenal have reportedly interested in signing the Manchester United centre-back Daley Blind amid rumours that club’s new manager Jose Mourinho is looking to offload the defender, according to Sky Sports News.

The Netherlands international, who joined the Red Devils on a £16m deal in 2014, played most of the last season at centre-back, but Mourinho allegedly reckons that the Dutchman is too small for the role.
The reports have alerted Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who is looking to bolster his own backline ahead of the 2016-17 Premier League season.
Blind is a versatile footballer, can play as a defender and also as a defensive midfielder, has scored one goal in 35 league appearances for United last season.
