Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in Lyon centre-forward Moussa Dembele.
The Red Devils are weighing up a January move for a new striker, after terminating Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract last month.
According to MediaFoot, Manchester United have reignited their interest in Dembele, having been linked with the France international on a number of occasions over the last couple of weeks.
The report adds that the Ligue 1 outfit are open to a January exit, with the club asking for between £7m and £8.8m in terms of a transfer fee, as his contract at the Groupama Stadium is due to expire next summer.
Dembele, 26, has again been a regular for Les Gones during the 2022-23 campaign, racking up 12 appearances in all competitions.
The Frenchman has an impressive record overall for Lyon, meanwhile, contributing 69 goals and 18 assists in 156 appearances in all competitions.
Aston Villa and Galatasaray are also said to be monitoring the situation ahead of a possible bid during the summer.
