Manchester United and Liverpool will reportedly go head to head for Aston Villa youngster Carney Chukwuemeka in this summer’s transfer window.
According to The Sun, the 16-year-old midfielder is attracting interest from the Red Devils and the Reds.
The England U17 international is also believed to be on Manchester City’s radar, although Villans are hoping to persuade the teenager to stay.
The report goes on to claim that the Premier League relegation strugglers are still hopeful Chukwuemeka will agree to sign a professional deal to stay at Villa Park, more likely that he would break into the first team.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on the hunt for a new young talented homegrown players who can grow with the club, while the Merseyside giants have invested in teenagers with the likes of Harvey Elliott and Ki-Jana Hoever recently.
