Manchester United are expected to wrap up a deal for Julian Alvarez from River Plate.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed a sensational season with River Plate, contributing 24 goals and 15 assists in all competitions.
The youngster is now eyeing a bigger challenge in Europe, and Sport reports that Manchester United are leading the race to sign him.
A deal for Alvarez looks like a very plausible option. His current contract with the Argentine outfit has a €20m release clause.
The South American talent has a contract with River Plate until December 31, 2022.
