Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic has committed his long-term future to extending his contract at San Siro until the summer of 2022.
The 28-year-old versatile midfielder was strongly linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United in the recent summer transfer window, with Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho believed to have identified the Croatian as the ideal player to boost his frontline.
The Serie A giants resisted the interest in the playmaker, however, and Luciano Spalletti’s side have now tied Perisic to the club for the another five years.
