It was Luis Suarez, who received the Golden Boot award last year – and now it’s Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo’s turn, who collects his third Golden Boot award of his career for his stellar performance throughout the season.
The Portuguese star have also won the same prestigious award in 2008 and 2011, who has insisted that he will remain with the Bernabeu club “for many years to come”. He has scored 31 La Liga goals for Los Blancos last campaign.
The 29-year-old striker shared his award with Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, who has also scored 31 times in the Premiership for Liverpool last season.
