The tweet translates as: “#TevezReturnsHome. It’s a reality. It’s official: Carlos Tevez returns to Boca.”
The 31-year-old striker, who had one year left on his current contract at Turin, was in rumours to be linked with a move away to Paris St-Germain, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, but the Argentine club Boca have secured his signature.
He has scored 38 goals in 110 appearances during his first spell for his boyhood club Boca before making a move to West Ham United in the Premier League.
Tevez won three English Premier League titles, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League, two Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia during his time in Europe.
