Can England win the title?

The World Cup 2014 begins on Thursday, June 12 and so the excitement begins with the fans.

England is in Group D, alongside Costa Rica, Italy and Uruguay. It is obvious that England will be the most dominating in this Group.

Football fans across the world will witness the most anticipating tournament that they will remember forever. No other tournament in the planet makes an impact like the FIFA World Cup.

England first game will take place in Manaus against Italy on June 14, followed by group matches against Uruguay and Costa Rica.

England boss Roy Hodgson has already knew the team that he plans to choose for the World Cup, the 23-man squad will be announced on 13 May.

“Certainly over the last couple of weeks I’m pretty much sure of what I want to do when it comes to the team,” Hodgson told Fifa.com.

“I don’t judge players on their last-minute form over two or three games. I’m judging them over two years. Or, in particular, if anyone new on the scene has emerged I’m judging him over several months.“
