Liverpool plan summer move for Newcastle outcast

Liverpool are reportedly planning a summer move for Newcastle winger Hatem Ben Arfa, according to Metro.

The 27-year-old has fallen out with Magpies chief Alan Pardew and is likely to be allowed to leave St James’ Park at the end of the season.

Pardew has banned the Frenchman from first-team training that shows end of his career at Tyneside. However, Ben Arfa wants to stay at the club.

The report claims the Reds are planning a £6m move for his signature in the summer transfer window, which may be accepted by the Magpies.

Although, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is believed to see him as an ideal option to his squad ahead of a Champions League campaign.
