Arsenal and Tottenham show interest in Jacob Ramsey

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both reportedly eyeing Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey for a potential move in one of the upcoming transfer windows.

Despite contrasting starts to the season—Arsenal unbeaten with 17 points, while Spurs trail by seven points—both clubs are keen to strengthen their midfield options.

The Gunners recently added Mikel Merino, who is expected to become a key player after recovering from injury, while Spurs signed youngsters Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall in the summer. However, both clubs remain interested in Ramsey, a 23-year-old with 131 senior appearances, five starts this season, and a contract until 2027.

Villa may be open to selling Ramsey to aid their compliance with Premier League Profit and sustainability regulations, though the £50 million asking price might prove a hurdle.
