Barcelona join race for Renato Sanches?

Barcelona have reportedly joined the clutch of clubs hoping to sign Lille midfielder Renato Sanches in the current transfer window.

The 23-year-old has proven himself to be one of European football’s most promising attackers over the past 12 months, helping Les Dogues win the Ligue 1 title.

While the French outfit would prefer to retain the services of the Portugal international, the division’s ongoing financial crisis have allegedly resulted in interest from a number of English clubs.

According to Le 10 Sport, the Catalan giants are contemplating whether to rival the Premier League duo Liverpool and Arsenal for the player’s signature.

The Blaugrana could able to offer at least one player in part-exchange to facilitate a deal.

Sanches will see his contract at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy expire at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
