Gunners are targeting a January move to lure Munir El Haddadi from La Liga champions Barcelona, reports in Daily Mirror.
El Haddadi rated as one of the Barca’s hottest property in his age group and has already grab the attentions of Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and German champions Bayern Munich, while Barcelona also look to keep him for a long-term at the Nou Camp.
Premier League leaders Arsenal join Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich in race to land the 18-year-old striker.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is desperate to sign the Moroccan as a central attacking role to his strike-force especially for the UEFA champions league fixture where Gunners have to compete against defending champions Bayern Munich on February 19, 7:45 PM (UK Time). The clash is considered as one of the intense games of this season.
However, Wenger himself has a good history of luring young talent from the Catalan giant with Spain international Cesc Fabregas is the most remarkable example, who started his youth career with the Gunners in 2003.
It seems like, Wenger will surely make a descent bid in front of the Spanish champions in order to bring the wonderkid at Emirates Stadium.
