Samuel Eto’o summer plan eyeing return to La Liga

Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o has insisted that he wants to rejoin Real Mallorca in summer, according to the reports from The Independent.

The Cameroonian, who has been the part of Mallorca between 2000 and 2004 and joined the Blues in summer 2013 from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala has recently shown his worth by a wonderful hat-trick in Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

During an interview at Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, Eto’o told:

”I would prefer Mallorca, My son wants me to finish my career there and later on, I will move to Mallorca.”

Four times African Player of the Year, Eto’o has been in excellent form this season so far – has scored 8 goals with 5 assist in 17 just appearances.

The 32-year-old Eto’o, whose current contract at Chelsea is set to expire in summer and a move to Spanish club would surely bring him some hope of getting better opportunities.
