Arsenal have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Allan from Napoli this summer, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.
The Gunners have joined the race to sign the Brazilian midfielder in the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old has been in good form so far this season and has scored four times and registered four assists in 27 Serie appearances for the Italian outfit.
The report adds the defensive midfielder is poised to be one of the top prime targets for a couple of European clubs this summer.
Although the Gunners are unlikely to be at the front of the queue given their Premier League struggles, that hasn’t stopped manager Arsene Wenger from ramping up his interest in the playmaker.
