AC Milan have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports News in Italy.
The Serie A leaders are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old, who will see his current contract expire next summer, is reportedly the subject of interest from the Rossoneri.
The reports claims that fellow Chelsea defender Malang Sarr, Lille’s Sven Botman and Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic are also on Milan’s radar for the upcoming transfer window.
The Italian giants have a recent history of recruiting players from Chelsea, with Tiemoue Bakayoko, Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori all now plying their trade at San Siro.
Christensen has made 142 appearances for the Blues across all competitions, including 15 this season.
