Benjamin Sesko expected to join Arsenal next summer

Arsenal have stepped up their interest in a future swoop for RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko after missing out on the 21-year-old this summer.

Despite signing a five-year extension with the Bundesliga club, the Gunners are optimistic about securing the Slovenian forward in 2025.

Sesko has been on the radar of multiple Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United, but Arsenal’s interest remains strong.

Should their efforts to land Sesko fall through, the North Londoners have lined up Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram as a backup option. Thuram has been in electric form this season, netting four goals and assisting twice in three Serie A games.

His versatility and link-up play make him an attractive target, though the Gunners view Sesko as the long-term prospect with the highest potential to develop at the Emirates.

This proactive approach highlights Arsenal’s ambition to strengthen their forward line, ensuring they stay competitive in the Premier League and Europe.
