Leeds United have announced the signing of Tyler Adams from RB Leipzig, believed to be worth around £20m.
The 23-year-old has committed himself to a five-year contract at Elland Road, which will run until June 2027.
The USA international becomes Jesse Marsch’s fifth signing of the summer following the arrival of Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca and Darko Gyabi.
Adams leaves RB Leipzig after two-and-a-half years with the German outfit, where he racked up 101 appearances in all competitions.
The midfielder is now hoping to become a key player under Marsch at the Yorkshire giants and he could make his debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers on the opening day of the English Premier League on August 6.
