Liverpool have registered their first victory under the newly appointed manager Jurgen Klopp, thanks to Nathaniel Clyne to a 1-0 win against Bournemouth in the fourth round of the competition, sending Reds through to the League cup quarter-finals.
Clyne, 24, pounced from close range in the 17th minute after Cherries keeper Adam Federici had saved Joao Teixeira’s effort.
Now, Liverpool will face Southampton in the quarter-finals at St Mary’s Stadium as Klopp chases the first piece of silverware of his Reds reign.
Here are the best reaction on Twitter to Liverpool’s dramatic win over Eddie Howe’s side.
Herr Klopp has a victory under his belt. He’s off and running.

Jurgen Klopp just said ‘that’s cool’ several times in his pre-match interview. What a man. I wish he was my dad.
