Spurs currently sitting in the fourth position in the Premier League table and having already qualified for the Champions League last 16.
Earlier reports have indicated that Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte would like to secure the services of a new winger who can feature in the final third.
According to Record, Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the list of clubs wanting to sign Porro from Sporting Lisbon.
The 23-year-old has made 12 starts and three substitute appearances in the Primeira Liga and the Champions League this season, contributing five assists.
The Spainard still has over two-and-a-half years left on his contract at the Portuguese giants.
The North Londoners are already well stocked with players in that area of the pitch with the likes of Emerson Royal, Matt Doherty and Djed Spence.
