Barcelona have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Angers midfielder Azzedine Ounahi.
The Morocco international has been impressive at the 2022 World Cup, helping his side reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants have been impressed by the 22-year-old’s performances at the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar and identify him as an alternative to Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan.
The report adds that Barca are confident that they could lure Ounahi to Camp Nou in a low-cost deal next month despite his recent performances for his country.
The midfielder joined Angers from Avranches in 2021, and has represented the club on 47 occasions in all competitions, contributing two goals and two assists during the process.
Ounahi possesses a contract until the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
