Roberto Mancini: ‘I would love to manage Arsenal’

Newly-appointed Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini has revealed his soft spot for Arsenal, admitted that he wanted to manage the north London side at some point in the future.

The former Manchester City boss, who recently took the command of the Italian club just 13 days ago, and expressed his desire by claiming that he would “love” to take charge at the Emirates Stadium before he retires.

“I would have loved to have managed Arsenal, a club with a special charm. But there is still time,” the Italian told Corriere dello Sport quotes by the Express.

“Where do I see myself at 60? As coach of the Italian national team.”

It is understood that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has come under intense scrutiny after the Gunners have slumped to their worst ever Premier league start, who are currently sit eighth in the league table.

Mancini, 50, who guided Manchester City to a Premier League title in 2012, insists that he would like to take over from Wenger at the Emirates.
