Newcastle United are reportedly set to announce the arrival of Christian Atsu from Chelsea on loan deal.
As reported by the Daily Star, the Ghana international has agreed to join the Magpies. The playmaker will arrive the St James’ Park from the Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan, although according to Sky Sports, the deal between two clubs also includes an option to buy the player next summer.

Atsu, 24, signed for the Blues from Porto in 2013, but has never played for the west Londoners, instead, loaned out to Vitesse, Everton, Bournemouth and Malaga.
Newcastle United, who were relegated from the Premier League to the Championship last season, struggled their new term with two defeats, but recovered in the following three games, winning all of them.
