Reports in the press suggest the west Londoners have keeping a close eye on Spurs’ star, as rumours rife that something is odd between Kane and the club regards a new contract.
The Sun claims that the 23-year-old earns £60,000 a week at the north London club, £35,000 less than summer acquisition Moussa Sissoko, and the club are refusing to make him one of the highest earners at Tottenham.
Kane has scored three goals in six Premier League games this season so far.
