Report – Arsenal revive interest in Ever Banega?

Arsenal have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega, according to The Mirror.

Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey is set to leave the Emirates at the end of the season in order to join Serie A champions Juventus, and it has left the Gunners in need of a replacement.

Arsenal head-coach Unai Emery has been interested in a reunion with Banega in the past with the duo having worked together at Valencia and Sevilla, but a transfer didn’t materialise last month.

However, the report claims, the 47-year-old manager is ready to make another bid in the summer transfer window with Banega possessing a release clause worth £17m.

If the deal goes through, the 30-year-old Argentine would add more depth in the middle of the park at the north London.
