Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has confirmed via twitter that he will wear the number nine jersey this season.

The Colombian international, who officially signed for the Red Devils in the early hours of summer transfer deadline day, and tweeted to announce his shirt number for the campaign this season.
The historic No.9 shirt has been vacated since Dimitar Berbatov departed the club in 2012.
Falcao, 28, joins on a season-long loan with an option to buy for around £6m.
United’s summer activity also included the signing of Luke Shaw, Daley Blind, Angel Di Maria, Marcos Rojo and Ander Herrera.
