Newcastle United are reportedly preparing to offer Moussa Sissoko a new contract to secure his long-term future at the St James’ Park following a summer which saw several clubs were interested in the midfielder.
The 26-year-old was strongly linked with the Premier League heavyweights throughout the summer transfer window with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
But the Magpies kept hold of the French midfielder, who was happy to stay at St James’ Park. Now the club are preparing a new contract for Sissoko for staying loyal through the summer, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.
