Manchester United are ready to make a summer move for Lille defender Simon Kjaer, according to The Express.
The Denmark international, who has won 48 senior caps for his country – has got a wealth of experience, having played for five clubs so far at the age of 26.
The report has suggested that the 20-times English champions, who are favourites to qualify for Champions League next season are lining up a move for Kjaer from French club Lille with a $16m offer.
Surely, the Red Devils is one of the top clubs in Premier League and Van Gaal is likely to make this deal happen this summer in a bid to strengthen his squad.
Moving to Old Trafford will be a good decision by the defender that he should not turn down.
Manchester United are currently fourth in the league, with eight points behind the league leaders Chelsea.
