Manchester United are reportedly keeping an eye on PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani with a view to making a move in the New Year.
The Red Devils’ struggles in the first half of the season, combined with their lack of firepower, have exposed the need for reinforcements up front. Kolo Muani, a versatile striker with excellent pressing and sharp attacking instincts, fits the bill perfectly.
The Frenchman, who joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for a hefty fee, has struggled for game time under Luis Enrique. However, his proven ability to create and convert chances makes him an ideal short-term fix for United. In Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 system, Kolo Muaniās dynamism and work rate could add the spark United desperately need.
If the Mancunian giants can negotiate a loan deal with a feasible option to buy, it would be a smart piece of business. At just six points off the top four, a consistent run post-January could propel them back into the Champions League race. Kolo Muani might just be the player to lead that resurgence.
