Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Leeds United winger Daniel James.
The Wales international joined the Yorkshire giants from Manchester United last summer and concluded the 2021-22 campaign with four goals and five assists from 35 appearances in all tournaments.
The 24-year-old has since featured in two of Leeds’ opening three matches of the new Premier League season, including a 3-0 home victory against Chelsea on Sunday.
However, it remains to be seen whether the former Swansea City winger will be a regular starter under Jesse Marsch.
James still has four years left to run on his contract, but journalist Alan Nixon claims that Tottenham Hotspur are considering a late move for the Welshman.
The North Londoners have made six signings so far this summer, with Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Ivan Perisic, Djed Spence, Fraser Forster and Destiny Udogie all arriving at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
