Ajax interested in Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech on loan?

Ajax have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious loan move for Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech if Antony joins Manchester United.

The Dutch outfit are reluctant to sell Antony to the Red Devils, but the Brazil international has missed the last two days of training to force through a move.

As a result, the 22-year-old forward will not be playing in Sunday’s league match against Sparta Rotterdam, with the 20-time English champions believed to be preparing another bid after recently having an €80m move rejected.

If Antony makes a move to Old Trafford then Ajax would try to sign a replacement before the deadline day, with Ziyech regarded as a potential option.

According to The Mirror, Ajax are interested in bringing Ziyech back from the Blues on a loan deal, with the 29-year-old midfielder struggling for playing time at Stamford Bridge.

The Moroccan joined Chelsea in 2020, but he has found it difficult to make his mark for the West Londoners after being an unused substitute in the opening two Premier League matches.
