Atletico Madrid star Koke has revealed that he is not joining the Premier League champions – ‘CHELSEA’ this summer.
The 23-year-old midfielder, has been strongly linked with a move to the west London club recently, with reports suggesting that Brazilian defender Filipe Luis – who left the Spanish champions last summer – could be used to partner with Costa up-front at Stamford Bridge.
However, the Spain international insists that he has no intention of leaving the club and we remain at the Vicente Calderon next season, but admits that he would like to play alongside Luis once again.
“Yes, I will play here,” the midfielder told AS. ”Filipe Luis is more than a team-mate, he is a friend, so he would be welcome here.”
Koke, whose current contract in the Spanish capital is valid until 2019, including a release clause of €60 million, according to the Daily Telegraph. He has scored two goals along with 10 assists in 32 games for the Spanish club this season.
