Napoli have confirmed that Kalidou Koulibaly has committed his long-term future by signing a new contract with the Serie A outfit, which will keep him at the Stadio San Paolo until the summer of 2021.

The Senegal international was strongly linked with a move to Premier League giants Chelsea in the summer, but revealed earlier this month that he turned down interest from the west Londoners to remain in Naples.
The 25-year-old defender has now ended the speculation surrounding his future by signing a new five-year extension with Partenopei, who are leading the point table of Serie A after three winning three games this season.
